THE ROUTE COMPLETES A DISTANCE OF APPROXIMATELY 8.6 KM
The circuit will start and end in Es Caló de Sant Agustí and involves covering the old path from La Pujada a La Mola, plus a loop around a circuit in La Mola that reaches Sa Talaiassa.
ROUTE BY SECTIONS
Starting in Es Caló de Sant Agustí, the first and last km of the 8.6 km race are easy to run as they are a consolidated and sufficiently wide path until reaching the Hotel Entrepinos and Apartaments Entrepinos, where we will take the Camí Romà or Camí de Sa Pujada and begin the ascent to La Mola.
At km 4 there will be a liquid refreshment point. We will reach the intersection with the PM-820 road, which we will cross below, that is, through the drainage tunnel that is wide and safe enough not to suffer for the integrity of the participants and that will be visibly signposted to avoid any incident.
We will begin a route along fully consolidated, wide dirt roads, reaching the highest part of La Mola (Sa Talaiassa), where we will have the time control or flying finish line, as well as a refreshment stop. Following the circuit, we will again reach the underpass at the junction with the PM 820 road and begin the descent along the Roman road to Es Caló de Sant Agustí, where the finish line is located.
The Under 16 and Under 18 categories will start from Es Caló de Sant Agustí, taking the Camí Romà until halfway up, they will divert towards the Water Reservoir and will take the Camí Romà again to go down again to Es Caló de Sant Agustí, thus completing a 4 km route.
RACE SAFETY
All routes of the sports day, both those corresponding to the starts of the smaller categories and the 8.6 km start, will be closed to traffic for the entire duration of the race, although only the first and last km of the race will be on a passable area for vehicles.
The races will be opened and closed by volunteers from the Grup Esportiu Espalmador, and we will have an ambulance with a full assistance team always connected with the circuit guards so that in the event of an accident, those affected can be quickly assisted by appropriate personnel.
There will also be members of the Civil Protection patrol and volunteers from the organization controlling the entrances and exits of vehicles that may be present throughout the circuit.
The circuit will be duly marked with “sports event” signs specifying the day and time of the event. The points of greatest danger of accident or confusion will be indicated, if necessary, with arrows or volunteers directing runners in the correct direction of the event.
The collaborators and those in charge of controlling the event will be properly uniformed with reflective vests so as not to confuse the runners. The organization is not responsible for any moral or material damages that accredited participants may suffer, before or during the event. In any case, however, the necessary measures will be taken for the best development of the race, placing at the service of the runners, local police, an ambulance, volunteers from the Grup Esportiu Espalmador, private insurance for the runners and medical assistance if necessary.
The safety of the race includes liquid and solid refreshments for all the races of any of the distances. In the 8.6 km race there will be liquid refreshments at km 4 (once you reach the top of the climb) and liquid and solid refreshments at the Finish, so runners can hydrate during and after the test if it’s needed.
PRIZES
The organization will award trophies to the first three male and female finishers in each category and to the first 3 overall male and female absolutes. PRIZES FOR CATEGORIES AND ABSOLUTES ARE NOT ACCUMULATED.
ACCEPTANCE OF THE REGULATIONS AND THE ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION DOCUMENT FOR PARTICIPANTS - ANNEX I.
By registering for the test, participants accept these regulations and ANNEX I, the environmental information document. The participants read, understand and therefore accept these regulations and ANNEX I thereof.
In case of doubt, the organization reserves the right to freely interpret these regulations if necessary. The sportsmanship and the promotion of athletics among popular runners and younger athletes is what inspires the call for this event. Participants who display unsportsmanlike or antisocial behavior before, during or immediately after the event will be disqualified from the event by the organization and excluded from the classification and therefore from the award of trophies if the organization deems it appropriate.
